Homegrown Hunger Relief
YOU can help end hunger in our community by planting your garden for abundance!
Healthy Day Partners connects excess fresh produce from neighborhood gardens directly to local food pantries to feed our neighbors facing food insecurity.
Homegrown hunger relief - with fresh food connect
Finally, there is a way for you to donate your local garden produce to help improve local community health and strengthen the local food system - while reducing food waste! We are partnering with Fresh Food Connect to launch our Homegrown Hunger Relief program in the communities of Encinitas, Carlsbad, Solana Beach and Balboa Park! Individual gardeners can sign up on the Fresh Food Connect app to donate their homegrown produce and contribute to a healthier community.
